Lecture
Today we have a guest lecturer from the French Navy. He talked about the French Forces and roles in the Indian Ocean. I managed to ask him a question, about the French presence in the Straits of Malacca, vis-à-vis its roles in maintaining peace and security. The lecturer firstly admitted that he just visited Langkawi for LIMA 05. Nice place, he commented, with nice golf courses. The lecturer adequately responded to my question by saying that the French respected the genuine willingness of the three littoral states in maintaining peace and security. He added that he was very much aware about the three partite agreement between the states and will respect this organization as exercising the sovereignty of the concerned states. However, France will assist and cooperate if required and offer to share her own experiences.

Fadzlan's Request
Ini cerita Sarjan. Minggu lepas, masa nak goreng keropok, saya panggil Sarjan untuk tunjuk apa dia keropok dan macam mana digoreng. Dia datang dan nampak excited. Minyak dah panas, tapi masih belum cukup panas. Saya kata, kita kena tunggu minyak betul, betul panas. He moved away smiling while I shake my head in disbelief.
